Prague has several beautiful cemeteries, but even more exist throughout the entire country. This Halloween, we’re looking at some of the most interesting, haunted-looking and picturesque graveyards through the lenses of Czechs who shared them on Instagram.
Many of these sites are prized for their historical value, while others remain quiet and almost forgotten. When visiting, just remember that some are still actively being used, so be respectful and light a candle or two for those who found their final resting places here.
Because the Czech Republic doesn’t officially celebrate Halloween, we suggest that a stroll through a cemetery may just be the way to honor the holiday this year if you happen to be in the country on All Hallow’s Eve.
